Second RCDS Workshop Held for Nagorno-Karabakh Community Leaders

On April 12, the second workshop for community leaders from Nagorno-Karabakh took place within the framework of the Regional Center for Democracy and Security’s project “Enhancing Democratic Inclusion for Nagorno-Karabakh Refugees.” The workshop brought together mayors of towns and villages, as well as heads of regions, from Nagorno-Karabakh.

 

RCDS expert Tatevik Ghazaryan spoke about electoral processes, recent changes to the RA Electoral Code, and the misuse of administrative resources, presenting both international and Armenian experience.

 

Anna Gradlyan, a digitalization programs specialist, delivered a lecture on “Digital Forms of Civic Participation,” presenting Armenian digital platforms through which citizens can participate in project discussions, apply to state institutions, and engage in various programs.

 

Ani Grigoryan, head of CivilNet’s fact-checking team, spoke about combating disinformation and media literacy.
